Introduction

Let's begin the section of the course that's going to deal with creative problem solving and creativity. Because if everybody else is solving a problem in a certain straightforward way, you're going to end up in the same result. You're going to be more or less in a tiebreaker situation. But if you can get ahead by learning to think creatively and come up with outside the box solutions, that's not going to incrementally improve your results, it is going to exponentially improve your results. Because that's precisely why it's outside the box. Nobody can come up with it. But a creative solution can really set you apart from everybody else.

The Importance of Creativity

What do you have to do today? Everywhere else you go, selling online, any business, social media, it's crowded. Everybody's copycatting each other, everybody's a copycat of somebody else. And that's why new ideas, new takes on a situation, new solutions, creative outside the box ones are so, so, so valuable. Many people don't even talk about creativity during problem solving. But that's the one element that's going to get you way, way, way ahead of competition. And so that's why it's so important to focus on here.
